Settling...

Well, as much as it may have seemed seriously strange to name this little one for some of you. It really did help me. Honestly, I've not wanted to deal with this. It's like, I have enough going on in my life right now, I really don't need a little drama in here to flavor things up at all. Life's spicy enough eh? So as much as I had felt sad over everything, I knew part of me was holding our and refusing to look at it. Well, somehow, when I picked out a name, it hit me fully. And you know... it wasn't this dark, horrible grief. It was sorrow... but it was fresh and awake. That probably makes no sense. But, that's as close as I can get to describing it. Today it feels as thought I looked Grief in the face and came to peace with it. It's ok.

Jordyn Peace. We picked the name Jordyn because it was boy/girl (I hate the word "unisex" it's just... unsettling.) and it sounded rather nice. Why else does anyone pick names I guess, lol And the middle name of Peace.. Well, that just seemed so right. Kayla's middle name is Joy, after my mom. Emily's middle name is Grace. So we decided to use a similar idea to those. Ties this babe into the family that way too. This little one is now at peace with the Lord, and I have found peace on my journey with it... not finality, but, peace. So... there ya go.

Timing in everything has really been amazing. I mentioned before how the kids were out at my brother's place, at just the right time. It all just worked out that way. Another thing that happened was that I passed this little one the same day as a dear friend of ours passed away 10 years ago. So this little one and our friend Jeff Wahl have the same heavenly birthday. I think that's really cool actually. Jordyn, hang with Jeff up there, he's a good man!

In other news...We had our home school facilitator here today. He's a nice enough man. Shakes a little bit, I'm wondering if he maybe has a health issue. It's slightly distracting. He loves writing and he wants the kids to write and write and... ya. Levi's not much for writing just yet, we did do some. Perhaps I'll have him write a joke book or something, maybe that will inspire him! "Levi's book of Potty Jokes" uh huh... (What did the toilet say when it crossed the road...) Other then that, the meeting went well. Emily went over to Jocelyn's so I could actually string two words together without having her interrupting everything.

I need to say something about Nathan. That boy is just delightful. He sure knows how to fill a mother's joy cup! He knows how to get into his fair share of mischief these days also. I found him on top of the table this morning, covered with water having the time of his life. He was rather miffed that I removed him. Well, I'm going to read for a bit. I've been going hard all morning and I can tell I over did it a little... Anyone have good idea's for supper? I need an idea... Later all
