I did reach my goal by Christmas! I know, I know, I was shocked too!
Honestly, it doesn't really feel like I lost all that much, since I still have a far ways to go. But I finally fit clothes that hadn't fit for a while.
So I've made a new goal for myself. 10 more lbs by June. That still isn't my pre-Levi weight, but... I think that might be a bit unrealistic... Who knows, maybe someday! Still, I'm sooo thankful to have edged my way this much closer to my end goal. Each pound is a huge reason to rejoice! Remember the butter stick? Yeah, that's a lot of weight to burn off! I'm giving myself more time this time because I'm busier now for one thing, and I really can't eat 1200 calories a day... I only did that for the first 6 or 7 wks, and then I ate way too much chocolate to make up for it, hahaha. Still, I realize, I work better with baby steps. Changing habits.
This new way I'm cooking for my family will hopefully help me, since it's so healthy. Yet, I'm a bit worried, since I'm wanting Larry to gain weight, and I'm wanting to lose weight... can we eat the same thing and have that happen? Really, it's just lean meats and fish and lots of fruits and veggies... We shall see! Larry weighs 157 right now, and he started out at 190 (which was a little more then he needed, but I'm thankful he had!).
Anyways, Larry's feeling decent today, and I'm so thankful!!
Someday I'll post some pictures again.. I can't find my cord!
Good job! What's your secret besides the cooking? (do you not eat desserts etc?..or have you started excercising more?...) I should be doing all of this myself but haven't gotten going on it just yet:)
