Well whaddya know...

See this guy here? He's not perfect, but he has his moments!



Ok, so remember my last, rather pouty post? Hmmm, well... It's amazing how fast things can change. A tender hearted husband goes a lot ways too.





Yesterday Lar came home from work early, intending... that he and his buddy were gonna "make hay while the sun shines", ehem... go motorbiking while the weather holds.


I... was folding yet another load of laundry, original eh? hehe





So, anyways, I mentioned how nice it would be to be able to take off and enjoy the day when I wanted to (make note here, he doesn't do this often....). And what does he say?





"Ok, well, why don't you then? I'm hear, I'll stay home with the kids and you can go out this time!"





Whhhaaaattt????





Well, when my heart started pumping again, and I realized that I had truly fallen in love all over again... yes, that's what it takes now. Well, I called a friend, and we were off!





So, her hubby was going to go biking with my hubby, so hats off to them both, biggo browny points guys!





We set off for a small near by city and went shopping! Oh yes, in a store... with no children!! No begging, no one suddenly grabbing the front end of the cart and steering it into the clothes racks (or an innocent bystander) no begging, no whining, and only potty breaks for myself!





Simple things make me happy these days :)





I came home and felt very much refreshed. Adult conversation. No interruptions. Shopping. Hubby had the kids fed.





Thank you Larry. I know you missed your bike ride, and it was a big sacrifice. You made your wife a happy lady!
