Field Trip!

I started this post a while ago! I've been hoping to keep up on my blogging a little better, but... it is, what it is!

Anyways, here's some pictures of our first field trip of the year. We had a great time, we went to 3 historical places. It was set up like a day camp for the kids, and was very hands on. They had a great time!

Path leading up to the Stephensson House.

Historical Home.

Carding (sp?) wool.

The kitchen where the kids made cookies, they're baking right now!

Touring the dinning room, where they pointed out that there are less chairs then there were people living in the home. I guess the family ate in rounds!

The one room school house and the "teacher" prepping the kids for their experience here!
The boys on one side... They had to sit very still. Levi hated it! hahahaha

Explaining to the boys that their hands must be clean!

Although he hated it, he sat very still!

Kayla thought it was a lot more fun! Notice she's wearing Larry's belt buckle, she's really in a cowboy phase right now :)

I don't know if you can read the words on the board, but this was a piece the kids were to memorize, I liked what it said though.

Making ice cream at the creamery now!

"Milking cows"

We had a great time, it was a full day!  I'm hoping to do a few more field trips yet this year, we'll see what happens :)
