I love big families. Always have. I love the dynamics, the way there's always so many people to hang out with, just... everything. Our children are a heritage from the Lord to us. Not a burden as our society has screwed things up as. No no, stop thinking like that, I'm not announcing anything! hahaha I'm just telling. You know, my soap box.
Yeah. Soooo, what got me thinking about all this was this blog. She has 9 children. They've all come fairly close too, no big gaps like I have. Thus, no breaks. Seriously. I find raising kids hard. Perhaps I'm a wimp, I won't deny that. But, this is work folks! Parenting has stretched me more then anything ever could have. Just the fact that getting a full nights sleep is rare is one of the main reasons.
Anyways... These people have a three bedroom house. Yep, that's it. They do live in the country in Texas, which would make it easier, since you can use the outdoors for extra space year round. But, still... And get this, she's expecting again! Which, I totally think is great, like I said, children are a blessing! And it looks like they're doing a great job of raising them too. (check out the beds their girls are going to be using)
I just can't imagine how she ever does it all...
In other news... I read about a breach birth conference here, and I guess the big news is that it's best to birth breach babies on a hands and knees position... wow, shocker eh? That's sarcasm btw... haha
Well, I must run, get supper started here. Whatcha all making? I'm feeling somewhat disconnected without facebook now, so, leave me a note! How ya'll doing?
I clicked on that blog and it is really interesting! I especially thought the part about eating beans was....Oh I wish I'd known about this when I was pregnant! (and I lost my gall bladder after A. was born!)
