Follow up thoughts...

It's been interesting to hear others thoughts on this too! Obviously this is something we're all desiring. But this is how I'm challenging myself, and I'll challenge you too.

My husband has a saying "Be the old lady that pees in the sea". Nice isn't it? When I asked him about it he told a silly story about a lady who thought the ocean was drying up, so she would pee in the sea, to do her part in filling it up again.

In our Christian walk, we often need to be like her. It seems as though others aren't acting right. We are hurt. We want things fixed. People aren't this enough, or that enough. We excuse ourselves.

We need to pee in the sea, so to speak. (I bet you're not gonna forget that saying!) We need to do our part. And only our part. We can't be mad or offended that others aren't (peeing in the sea with us, ha!). We can only control ourselves and our actions... Walk in grace.

So, go out there, and pee in the sea! Do something nice, go way out of your way to be friendly. Be Christ and stop worrying about everyone else who isn't. I'll try to do the same for you :)
