I'm now into my 3rd trimester!! This pregnancy has felt looooong... I'm looking at another two months yet and it just seems like that will take forever! I don't remember feeling this impatient with the other pregnancies (maybe that's because I didn't journal them?!? haha) With my first two pregnancies I remember enjoying a lot of the feelings that come with pregnancy. Even being so uncomfortable was kind of a novelty. Having to pee so often didn't affect my life so much, it was kinda funny really. Having to sleep with extra pillows was no big deal! I think the novelty has worn off... It started getting old with my 3rd pregnancy. Then my fourth too. And now... yeah, it would be really nice to be able to jump up off the floor with ease again. Ok ok, so maybe I wasn't doing that as easily non-pregnant anyways, but it would be nice!
I'm finding I need to stop lifting Nathan and Emily now. The other day I had a lot of low pain and just felt totally awful. I realized when I was thinking about it later that I had carried Nathan around a fair bit that day. He's certainly old enough that he doesn't need to be carried much, but it does make my life faster! He can climb up most everything, I just need to budget that extra time into my day.
I haven't had the same intense braxton hicks contractions that I normally get, which has been really nice! Normally by 24ish weeks I really have to watch it. But they're not as strong this time. I do know that I need to drink a lot of water during pregnancy to avoid them, so maybe I've been drinking enough? Hmmm.
Baby is getting lots of hick-ups these days! (like... right now!) I will admit, the baby kicks and hick-ups do not get old. Even my fifth time around it's beautiful to feel that little person alive and well! I'm very much looking forward to seeing this little person :) The other children a getting more excited too. They are very amazed at how big my tummy is! Nathan and Emily love to talk to the baby and 'snuggle'. Emily often drapes herself over my tummy and just talks. It's very sweet :) Levi and Kayla will walk by and excitedly rub my tummy and say "baby, baby, baby!" I love the fact that the kids are so excited! I'm having to learn to let them touch my belly some, and just breathe deep and let them bond. If you didn't know.. I HATE people touching my belly! I would love to wear a tee-shirt in pregnancy stating that if you rub my belly I'll rub yours... which.. I wouldn't, but maybe it would scare people off! hahaha! My kids probably should be exempt from that though.... but, they also wouldn't care if I rubbed their belly back!
My view these days
Well, that's about all I can think of... besides the endless tiredness, lol... but who wants to hear about that!
