Ta Da!!

Well, as some of you know, this last year has been a bit draining for us here. Not bad over all really, we’ve had so many wonderful times, but still... tough. And all those kinks haven’t been worked out yet. Hopefully soon Larry’s health will be top notch again!

Anyways, after a tough time,  sometimes we’re blessed with a little taste of glory. It seems that the Lord figured we needed to be blessed, so here we go! Another blessing is coming our way!

See, the North American mindset on children is very different from Gods. The Lord calls our children our greatest blessing. We can easily get caught up with all the thoughts and worries about how much work and expense each child is. But really, first and formost, they are a gift. A precious gift from heaven, a little bit of glory to hold in our arms for just a little while.

The Bible says children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is his reward!!

I am so thankful for the blessing of this little one coming into our lives. I will admit that there have been times of worry, with Larry’s health being how it is right now. But God’s really been working on my heart about not worrying, my job for now is to love this babe, God’s is to strengthen us along the way. This child is coming “for such a time as this”. A blessing is a blessing no matter what the circumstances are.

So here we go, rejoicing over another blessing!

Something fun to add is Levi and Kayla's reaction. They've been asking if we could have another baby for a while now. They were aware of the last pregnancy that we lost and it really touched them. So I decided to make an event out of telling them. I brought them to my prenatal appointment with me to "guess that sound" (baby's heartbeat), it took a few guesses then Levi asked "It's... not a.. BABY is it?!?!" I laughed and told them that it was indeed the tiny little heartbeat, oh my, they were so pleased!! Kayla was just plain excited! Levi surprised me with his concern though. He immediately said "Ok Mommy, you have to eat really healthy now and take all your vitamins!" He's now my watch dog as to what I eat, lol. The other kids are picking up on it too. I didn't have breakfast on time this morning and Kayla was worried that the baby might be getting hungry, so I should sit down and eat a little something. Isn't that cute!
When we got home from the appointment they both ran and told Emily, she too was very excited, but she acted like it was old news. And I think to her it is maybe... She started telling people I was gonna have another baby even before I knew I was pregnant!

So when is this little one gonna join us? Sometime around the end of September. (I'm just into my 2nd trimester)
